How to cook delicious rice :
+ Step 1: Gently rinse the rice with clean water about 2-3 times, avoiding scrubbing too hard as this will remove the high nutritional content of the rice bran. Drain the water to remove any husks (if present).
+ Step 2: Put the rice into a clean pot, then add water at a ratio of rice/water 1.0 : 1.4 and soak the rice for 30 minutes to 1 hour (soak the rice at normal temperature). Based on experience, if cooking rice for the elderly, soaking the rice in hot water (70°C) will make the rice softer.
+ Step 3: After soaking the rice for 30 minutes to 1 hour, press the rice cooker button as usual. When the rice boils, the fragrant aroma of young rice will spread throughout the house. During cooking, absolutely do not open the lid of the rice cooker until the rice boils (about 15-20 minutes). Adding a little salt might make the rice taste richer.
